Field Marketing Operations Manager

Position Overview

We did this by launching a proprietary foam technology that is scientifically proven to make people feel better in our footwear. This technology is OOfoamTM.

The Field Marketing Operations Manager’s primary function is help facilitate and manage resources across departments cross functionally and to keep department stakeholders informed of status while projects are running. This is all done within the confines of OOFOS’ goals and vision. They will work in supporting all overarching projects and programs for the OOFOS brand that fall underneath the Director of Field Marketing. You will help facilitate assets across multiple departments and even companywide. Your main focus would be within 2 programs: Wholesale Retail Events and Initiatives, as well as Brand Direct to Consumer Retail Initiatives. As an operations manager you'll ensure projects have all assets and items needed so that it stays within the needed timeline of deliverables.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


Field Marketing Assets & Rep Vehicles

  • Work closely with Field Marketing Reps to update and maintain inventory of all assets on a monthly basis

  • Help manage FMR vehicle fleet maintenance and quality and condition of ancillary assets
  • Work with DFM to develop asset pack plan for FMR vehicles
  • Annual refresh of field marketing assets
  • Aide in helping both DFM and FMPM to procure and ship products and assets to and from headquarters on a weekly / bi-weekly basis, sometimes an even more frequent cadence

Point of Purchase (POP) Assets

  • Help FMPM to run reports and develop processes for fulfillment and inventory
    • Work with FMPM on what are the merchandising needs of the FMR Wholesale Retail Events
  • Work closely with DFM to oversee setups and help FMR(s) to manage the look and feel of each event
  • Closely work with DMF and FMPM to plan, manage, and buildout both pre and post shipment logistics of products and assets.
  • Aid DFM and work closely with AWFMM to place, manage, and fulfill purchase orders for each event
  • Closely monitor wholesale event schedule and work with DFM to schedule FMR(s) and plan what assets will be utilized Shop in Shops (SIS)
  • Closely work with DFM and FMPM to ensure all ancillary assets arrive on time to our manufacturer as well as onsite
  • Help update and refine our current SOP(s) with FMPM to create efficiencies Brand Direct to Consumer Retail Initiatives
  • Work closely with DFM to oversee setups and help FMR(s) to manage the look and feel of each event
  • Work with DMF to manage asset deliverables to help drive process refinement on brand experiential and experimental activations
  • Help research and develop sourcing solutions brand experiences that will overlap with brand events and wholesale retail environments
  • Procurement of assets in groups and one offs specific for Brand initiatives
  • Closely work with DMF and FMPM to plan, manage, and buildout both pre and post shipment logistics of products and assets
  • Closely monitor Direct to consumer event schedule and work with DFM to schedule FMR(s) and plan what assets will be utilized
  • Aid DFM and work closely with AWFMM to place, manage, and fulfill purchase orders for each event

KPIs:

  • Buildout and Update Field Marketing Vehicles (17)
  • Update and Maintain Field Marketing Paperwork (17)
  • Maintain on time deliveries : Both Assets and Product (95%)
  • Update and Maintain Asset Inventory Accuracy (95%)
  • Update and Refine Product Return SOP
  • Update and Refine Event SOP
  • Aid DoFM with attendance of 144 events annually
  • Update and Refine Local Warehouse SOP for receiving and shipping

Requirements:

  • BA or BS in marketing, business, or related field
  • 3 - 5 years in retail, sales or field marketing preferred
  • Strong relationship and communication, both oral and written, skills required
  • Organized multitasker, with the ability to plan, prioritize and analyze
  • Ability to travel for events, conferences, and relationship-building opportunities. May include nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years in run, outdoor or fitness industry in a field-based role
  • Comfortable with real time learning and problem solving while in the field.
  • Experience using field CRM tools
  • Experienced in Microsoft office and the google suite

Physical Requirements

  • Lifts equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Moves through out large event spaces as required.
