Sr. Manager Domestic Operations

Job Summary:

We did this by launching a proprietary foam technology that is scientifically proven to make people feel better in our footwear. This technology is OOfoamTM. The Supply Chain Manager coordinates, organizes, and oversees all activities involved in the production, transportation and distribution of materials and finished goods.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and manages the relationship with our 3rd party fulfillment provider.
  • Manages, measures, and creates the appropriate KPI’s to ensure our domestic operations operates as efficiently as possible.
  • Manage, audit, approve all costs associated with fulfillment, and negotiate new pricing as needed.
  • Act as a strategic partner in terms of solution design at the facility level.
  • Run regularly scheduled meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure targets are being achieved.
  • Oversees domestic outbound transportation spend with a strong focus on small package shipping.
  • Establish SOPs asthey relate to Fulfillment/Distribution and Transportation.
  • Perform the financial analysis and help establish reporting to ensure we have the appropriate KPI's in place that align with our Supply Chain strategy.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for automation to help streamline processes and eliminate waste.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Leadership/Cultural Requirements:

  • Cultural fit - matches up with the OOFOS OOsoul.
  • A "team first" attitude, collaborative mindset and openness to feedback is a must.
  • 7-10 years’ experience managing in the distribution environment. Direct oversight in a 3PL model a plus.
  • Strong understanding of small package pricing. Experience managing RFP’s a plus.
  • Large project management experience a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with solution design experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.
  • Travel is required – up to 20% per year.

Job Type: Full Time – Exempt

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Moves throughout the 3PL building during visits.
  • Lifts boxes up to 20 pounds.
