2018: A Year In Review

With the end of the year upon us, it’s a great time for everyone to reflect on accomplishments and lessons from the previous year.

Today, we’re taking a look back at an OO-mazing 2018 at OOFOS.

One of our most important accomplishments this year is that we continued to make thousands of people feel better because they are now feeling the OO!

Whether for post-run or post-workout recovery, to wear for a long shift at work, running everyday errands, or relief from painful foot conditions… OOFOS are truly making people feel better. The OOFOS team is so happy that we’re living up to our mission to “make yOO feel better” and we look forward to seeing the number of people who are feeling the OO grow even more in the new year.

Secondly, with your help, OOFOS has very proudly donated over $250,000 to breast cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  We donate 3% of every single sale on directly to breast cancer research, and aim to be writing a check for $1 Million sometime very soon.

Finding a cure for breast cancer is a cause that is near and dear to our hearts here at OOFOS, after our first employee was diagnosed with Stage 4, Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2014.  To learn more about our mission and how your pair of OOFOS could help end breast cancer, click here.

I have had great relief with OOFOS. After experiencing relief from plantar fasciitis in the flip flops after only 45 minutes, I went on the search for work shoes which got me through the rest of the year. So, the next challenge?!
Do you make, or will you consider making, a work shoe with a slip-resistant bottom?
As much as I love the OOFOS work shoe, sometimes I have had a dangerous slip – nearly ending in the splits, which is something I’m not trying to do at work – or at all at my age. I work in the food industry and those slips on the barista floor and the room service kitchen could be dangerous, but I risk it for my foot comfort and continued healing.
If you are working on a non-slip work shoe prototype and need some beta test feet, I’ll offer mine!!
