THE ROAD TO RECOVERY - MASSAGE

May 27, 2015

The ROAD to RECOVERY series takes a look at some of the common methods of recovering after a run, yoga session or workout and optimizes them so you get the most out of your body.

PART 4 - Massage

Regular massages increase circulation by helping to reduce inflammation produced during a workout. Massages assist the transport of nutrients to tissue for repair so that the body can recover more efficiently.

TIP FROM THE TEAM: Word- of-mouth referrals are the best way to find a licensed massage therapist that works with athletes. Ask your fellow athletes, running clubs and store staff for recommendations. Let your OOFOS begin the recovery process from your feet up right after a workout.

Happy feet = happy athlete.
