When did you first hear of OOFOS?
I first heard of OOFOS when they announced they would be partnering with the NWHL for our bubble season in Lake Placid. I am so happy I did because after trying them on, I never wanted to take them off. OOFOS provided me with comfort and support around the hotel, arena and quickly became a part of my everyday routine. I think that OOFOS would be the perfect footwear for anyone who experiences injuries, stress on the lower limbs or just being fatigued from everyday life.
As a professional athlete, how does OOFOS fit into your life and training?
The importance of recovery after practice and games is so important as a professional hockey player. I could not see my routine without my OOFOS sandals. They are the first thing on my feet pre and post game. When taking my feet out of my skates I need footwear that is comfortable and easy to slip on and off. OOFOS really helped me with overall recovery by reducing aches and stiffness from my skates, and speed my recovery to prepare me for my next game. I also don’t have to worry about OOFOS adding any time to my recovery routine that I already have in place, it is so simple to just toss on my slides and not stress about adding more time to my typical routine.
When you're not training, where do you wear OOFOS?
I use OOFOS in my everyday life outside of hockey by wearing my boots to and from the gym, grocery store and any other errands I need to run. They are easy to slip on and go while providing me with comfort and arch support. OOFOS can be beneficial to anyone, not just recovery athletes.
