Duncan Finigan is a long time member of the OOFOS family and was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer in October 2014. After Duncan’s diagnosis, it was an easy decision for us to choose breast cancer research as the cause that OOFOS would stand behind.
With every pair of the Pink collection that we sell, OOFOS will donate 100% of the proceeds to Dana-Farber breast cancer research. As one of the world’s leading cancer care centers, the Dana-Farber team works tirelessly to find a cure to help the millions around the world that are affected.
As the head of brand marketing for OOFOS I had been looking for a cause marketing partnership that was true to our core brand values and brand positioning in the marketplace. Little did I know when I started this search where it would take me – and the OOFOS brand.
Two and-a-half years into the launch of our brand, in November 2014, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Advanced Breast Cancer. Within a week of my diagnosis the OOFOS founders approached me and said we now have found our cause, it is whatever you choose that will help you in this fight. They said OOFOS’ mission statement is to make yOO feel better. We want to do whatever we can to help you and make yOO feel better.
